Most of our Horns are from South America, West & East African countries and are sent to us in 20ft containers, packed in Polypropylene Bags.

A.They are mainly from non-protected domestic cattle fit for human consumption.

We have specialist companies in these countries that collect the horns from the various government approved slaughterhouses. They remove the bones, wash and dry then and then treat them to eradicate any possibility of vermin before they are shipped to us in 20ft containers in the UK where we do all the finishing of all our products.

Horns are solid materials but when made into various items like Drinking Horns, Bracelets, Combs or Fridge magnets deserve to be handled with care. When teeth are created in horn Combs, this weakens the materials and extra care should be taken when they are being used.

Yes, Horn contains keratin and nitrogen. When crushed into shavings or powder, they contain about 11 to 13% nitrogen content. When used as soil improvement, they release nitrogen slowly over a period of time and are preferred by some farmers over chemical fertilizer being organic fertilizer

All our products are handmade from natural materials and as with all natural materials colours vary greatly. For all our displayed Drinking Horns and some few other items, we ensure that "what you see on display is what you get"

For some products, we provide a colour choice option, in this case we will aim to provide a match as close as possible to your choice but reserve the right to substitute the nearest match. If you have a specific colour requirement and the colour choice option is not available, please contact us when placing your order. Sizes given are for reference only and each item may vary slightly in sizes, as they are all handmade.

Our products are designed with you our customers in mind, for used for their beauty and to be appreciated. Our products are mainly natural and organic substance that has been living and growing over the years and as such requires you to follow some basic guidelines to keep your valued products in good shape and in the original condition to which you bought them. Our products when handle with proper care can be enjoyed and last over one's lifetime.

Please clean all Horns product with a mild solution of water and detergent; dab off the water with a soft cloth and then leave to dry naturally. Avoid contact with hot or acidic substance to avoid damage. It is necessary to polish your Horn products once in a while with sun flower oil on the outside of the horn to be able to keep the shine in the condition of its delivery. As a customer, you will benefit a great deal with the observation of the under-listed rules

  • Do not leave Drinking Vessel and our horn products soaked or immersed in water
  • Do not use hot or boiling liquid inside your Drinking Vessel or our horn products
  • Never place items in a microwave or dishwasher
  • Towel dry your Horn-ware immediately after washing them
  • Avoid contact with strong detergents, chemicals, cleaning or abrasive solutions.
  • Do not let horn-ware come in contact with sharp utensils to avoid body scratches.
  • Remove food soon after service and hand wash all Horn items
  • Do not exposed your Horn product to insects

Display

Please do not display your horn products under bright lights, in direct sunlight, near heat, air condition units or near windows or exterior walls. Horns will crack if exposed to too much heat, extreme or rapid fluctuations in room or outdoor temperature. It should be noted as well that humidity can cause small changes in the dimensions of the original size which the horns is supplied to you. It is very essential that you use your Horn-ware as often as you can.

We accept payment by Visa, Visa Delta, Master card through our Paypal gateway system. Payment are taking as soon as your order is processed or at point of all sale. We also take cardholder's full details including name, address and telephone number when accepting a credit/debit card payment. It must match details registered with the card issuer.

We can only deliver items bought from us to the credit/debit card or Paypal account holders registered billing address only.

Please note: that once an item has been dispatched, it is beyond our control and we are not able to guarantee delivery times as we rely on third party courier service to deliver your goods in good time.

Prices remain in force until we publish new prices on our website. Delivery charges may apply and are displayed during the order process. We always endeavor to ensure that all prices are accurate, however mistakes can sometimes occur and we are not obligated to complete orders in this occurrence. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as being cancelled. If the order is cancelled, we will refund any money that we have taken from you.

Horncraft will never rent or sell the information provided by you to third parties. However we use third parties in other to provide services such as delivering packages, processing credit card payments and servicing the website contents. These third parties will have access to only the necessary information in order to perform their statutory services as prescribed by their memo and article of association and may not use these necessary information for any other purpose.

Horncraft takes data security very seriously. All Order placed or made on our site is subject to security check. These checks are to protect you the customer and us the supplier against fraudulent transaction. All information entered on the site (personal information) must match the card issuer. We use Paypal gateway system for all Card payment. Incorrect and incomplete information by you (the customer) will result in a delay in your order. Unconfirmed identity will lead to further security checks, which will delay the processing of the order. We reserve the right not to supply goods to customer, if we have reach a satisfactory conclusion that the identity provided is fraudulent through our security checks. We may ask you to post, email or fax further proof of identity.

We do offer combined postage for all items sold on our website. We offer 50% off postage cost for all Additional Items sold our website, that means Purchase one item and additional items postage cost will be half prices. For more them two purchase or more, postage cost will still be half price for each items. This is because of the weight of each item. All cost of postage will be calculated by our system at the checkout point. For very large purchases, please contact us email.

Next day delivery takes one working day (Mon-Fri). We do offer 50% off postage cost for each additional item sold. All additional items postage cost will be half prices. For more than two purchase or more, postage cost will still be half price for each item. We endeavor to dispatch orders received by 12:00pm on the same day Mon-Fri, or next working day.

Buyer please note: If an item is being engraved or coated, item will be dispatch 3days after the order has being made (Items purchased will be engraved or coated within that time period and this only applies to engraved or coated items).

For any other that we are unable to dispatch within 3 working days, we will contact you as soon as possible by email (if email address is supplied) or inform you via your delivery address by post. We offer next day delivery where time permits as orders received over the weekend on during bank holidays can only be processed on the next working day. Our standard UK delivery service usually takes 2-3 working days but please allow up to 5 days in case of delays with postal service.

An EU countries delivery takes 3-7 working days. Kindly allow up to 10 working days in case of delays with postal service or customs delays. In all cases, please check with the relevant authorities in your country if any charge or duty may apply as you are solely responsible for paying any charge or levy in your country.

For the rest of World, delivery usually takes 10-15 working days. Please allow up to 20 working days in case of delays with postal service or customs delays. To ensure orders are delivered on time, we dispatch orders completed by 12:00pm on the same day Mon-Fri, or on the next working day if order is received after 12:00pm on Friday and on weekends.

Most orders are sent with Royal Mail 1st class recorded post and delivery usually takes 2-3 working days. Buyers should please to allow up to 5 working days for delivery in case of delays with Royal mail post. For orders not received after 5 working days, please contact us so that we can send you the tracking number and endeavor to locate the whereabouts of the package. For items confirmed lost, we will proceed with getting compensation from the delivery company used, and will arrange to send you a replacement item or issue you a full refund within 30 days.

Pleasenote: Delays with delivery is usually not due to our dispatch time as we always dispatch orders promptly.

We try all our best to dispatch orders received by 12:00pm on the same day Mon-Fri, or next working day if orders are received on weekends or on a bank holidays. When we are unable to dispatch your order within 3 working days for any reason whatsoever, we will contact you to let you know.

Please note that if you have just set up a Paypal account that is yet to be verified, this may cause some delays but you can send the payment by eCheque which can take more than 7 days before the payment are received by us and the goods will be sent as soon as the payment clears into our account.

If your order has still not been received after allowing the above stated time period please contact us immediately so that and we can send you a tracking number for the package so that we can begin the process to locate the whereabouts of the package.

For goods sent to and from an EU member states, there are no Customs/Import duty charges and no customs declaration is also required. For buyers outside the EU, you will be responsible for paying any import fees charged by your relevant authorities. If you are in doubt of any customs charges applicable or any import restriction in your country, please contact the relevant authorities in your country as we will not be liable for any breach by you of your country's applicable laws and regulations.
